M.A. Literature graduate Olivia Murr has been awarded a Fulbright. Doug Dorst was a featured writer at Barcelona’s Sant Jordi festival, a citywide celebration of books. While there, he also did press for the recently-published Spanish translation of his novel S., a collaboration with filmmaker JJ Abrams. This edition of S. (a/k/a El Barco de Teseo), has spent several weeks on Spain’s and Catalonia’s bestseller lists. S. has been translated into twelve other languages since its US release.

Steve Wilson has been elected to a three-year term as Faculty Senator by faculty from the College of Liberal Arts. Professor Wilson previously served two terms as Senator, from 2007–2013.
